My name is April Patterson. I grew up in central Oklahoma until joining the Navy at 21 years old. The Navy brought me to Naval Air Station Whidbey Island in 2003. I have been here ever since (minus one year back in Oklahoma in 2011). I took multiple programs at Skagit Valley College. I completed my Human Services degree and the Entrepreneurship program as well as the Criminal Justice program. I chose to become a Realtor because I saw the benefits of building generational wealth and wanted to help others along their journey. I am a strong advocate of veterans services as I am the Finance Officer for the American Legion in Burlington, WA. I love the Skagit community and supporting local businesses. I have been fascinated with real estate & its potential to grow wealth my whole life and have been a real estate investor since I was in my early 20's. I grew up in the Arlington area and moved to the Skagit Valley in the late 80's. I was a Law Enforcement Officer for about 20 years most as a K9 handler while at the same time assisting in my family's custom home building/construction business. Since leaving Law Enforcement I continue to consult in the construction business and have also worked in sales and appraisal. I have a blended family consisting of 2 children and 2 step-children as well as a new grandson who I have adopted. I enjoy home brewing and wine making and am very active as a soccer referee. I am a golf addict. I (with my team of course) am consistently one of the top producing brokers in Northwest Washington and rank in the top 5% of agents North of Seattle.
